The Terra Blade is currently the most powerful Sword in the game (as of it's release). It deals the same damage as the slower Chlorophyte Warhammer and does 5 more than The Horseman's Blade. With the right items equipped and the Well Fed and Tipsy buffs, its base damage can reach 206 damage, making it possible to crit for 584 damage (or even higher). It shoots a green sword forward in a line when used, which can hit three targets. Like the True Night's Edge and the True Excalibur, it cannot be swung continuously. If a flask is buffing the character, the ranged attack will also apply the flask effect to all enemies that it hits. The best prefix for Terra Blade is Legendary.

Notes
- The blade can pass through an infinite stack of enemies as it swings, but the sword's sword beam can only pass through two enemies, vanishing after damaging a third. Keep this in mind when fighting swarms of mobs.
- The sword beam's range is about 5000ft before vanishing.
- The beam it fires does 25% extra damage.
- The velocity of the projectile is improved by melee speed modifiers.
Trivia
- The blade is named after the land of Terraria which already comes from the Latin word "terra", meaning "earth".
- The crafting materials for this blade, True Excalibur and True Night's Edge, could be a reference to totality. Since Excalibur represents light and the Hallow, and Night's Edge represents darkness and the Corruption (alternatively, the Crimson), the Terra Blade could be the equivalency of both sides.
- In order to craft a Terra Blade, you would need 12 hallowed bars, 10 demonite/crimtane bars, 12 jungle spores, 15 stingers, a Muramasa, 20 hellstone bars and 3 Broken Hero Swords. In addition to the crafting stations, an additional demon altar would be needed as well as a hellforge and 10 mythril bars for the Mythril Anvil.
- If you use the sword in the Underworld, it's green sword will create a green background.
