Trivia[]

  • The name Abeemination is a portmanteau of the words abomination and bee.
  • It is the only boss-summoning item that can be crafted By Hand.
  • It appears to be that the crafting recipe's ingredients are loosely formed into the shape of a bee.
    • While the updated crafting recipe no longer requires obsidian, the updated sprite still has obsidian eyes, and multiple stingers as opposed to one.
  • The recipe requires the blocks that are formed when all three liquids are combined (Honey+Lava, Honey+Water, and Water+Lava).
  • Since most of the ingredients used to craft it are found in the Bee Hive, it was probably created for players who failed to kill the Queen Bee and cannot find a new hive with the larva, to farm the Queen Bee, or for players who wanted to fight her on the surface.
  • Since Hive Blocks are non-renewable, this summon is non-renewable, making Queen Bee the only boss that cannot be fought an infinite number of times per world.
    • Due to Journey Mode's duplication menu, this does not apply in that mode.
    • It also does not apply in Celebrationmk10 worlds, as the Jungle Mimic's "stuff cannon" attack can give the player an infinite amount of both Honey Blocks and Hive Blocks
    • As of 1.4.4, Hives can now be made by throwing crispy honey blocks in Shimmer, making it renewable in all worlds

  • Mobile 1.2.11212: No longer requires Obsidian or Crispy Honey Blocks and no longer needs to be crafted at an Altar.
