The Revolver is a gun that fires Bullets. It has a 1% chance of being sold by the Traveling Merchant after smashing a Shadow Orb or Crimson Heart. In the  PC version the Merchant also uses it to defend himself, but will later switch to a Pulse Bow once the world is in Hardmode.

The Revolver has a base 9% critical strike chance, as opposed to the usual 4%.

Its best Modifier is Unreal.

Tips

• With its fast attack speed, it is a fairly decent pre-Hardmode weapon.
• Along with the Sniper Rifle, it has the highest ranged velocity in the game. However, the Sniper Rifle automatically converts rounds into High Velocity Bullets when fired, meaning High Velocity Bullets must be used with the revolver to truly match the Sniper Rifle's ranged velocity.
