The Demon Scythe has a fast speed, deals 35 damage, and consumes 14 mana. The projectile floats in mid-air when first summoned, and then gradually gains speed in the direction clicked. This spell has a piercing effect, allowing damage to multiple enemies.

This weapon is in Tier 3. The Demon Scythe is a drop from Demons, which spawn in the Underworld. You don't have to be afraid to kill demons over lava as the Demon Scythe will not burn in lava (because of its lava-proof quality)

After dealing damage five times, or hitting a wall, the Demon Scythe projectile gets destroyed.

The Demon Scythe is a good weapon to use against large groups or worm enemies due to the large amount of affected enemies.

The spell's effect looks very similar to that of the Demon.

It is also good against the Eater of Worlds and Wall of Flesh because it can get through the hungry and break through many segments.
