Blue Slimes are another variety of slime, being just as common as the Green Slime, but also being just a bit stronger than them. They follow the Slime AI. It drops up to 2 Gel and a fair amount of coins when killed. They can jump through a 2 block space. They can be summoned with a Slime Statue, and are also summoned by King Slime sometime during the fight.
Blue Slimes are immune to the Poisoned debuff.
Just like many other slimes, Blue Slimes become passive around the player when they have the Royal Gel accessory equipped.
On the 
PC version, they can rarely be found carrying bonus drops, which the player receives on the slime's death.

- 1.3.0.1:
- Can now carry bonus drops.
- Now drops Blue Slime Banner instead.
- 1.2.0.3: Can now drop the Slime Banner.
- 1.0.5: Now floats in liquids and doesn't make a splash sound when hitting water.
- Pre-Release: Introduced.
