The Animation of Shadowflame Hex Doll.

The Shadowflame Hex Doll is a Hardmode Magic weapon that fires curving purple projectiles at decent range, which causes the Shadowflame debuff with the same purple flame effects. It is dropped by the Goblin Summoner during a Hardmode Goblin Invasion.

Its best possible modifier is Mythical, which was shown in one of the early teasers of the 1.3 update. It's is one of the best mid- to late game weapons.

Notes

• Randomly, the Shadowflame tentacle will appear to bounce off a solid surface. This appears to happen most often when the tentacle was already going to be bending in a direction away from or parallel to the surface to start with.
• This weapon is highly mana-efficient.
• The tentacles are slowed by water and will not travel as far if used underwater or in any other liquids.
