Potions

Potions are a group of consumable items that either recover health and/or mana or grant temporary buffs. They are commonly found in natural chests and pots, but can also be crafted at an Alchemy Station or Imbuing Station or bought from the Traveling Merchant.

Recovery potions

These potions restore health, mana, or both.

Teleportation potions

Potion Source / Ingredients Effects Recall Potion Bottled Water Specular Fish Deathweed Teleports you to your spawn point Teleportation Potion Bottled Water Chaos Fish Fireblossom Teleports you to a random location within the world.

Food and drink

Food grants Well Fed, drinks grant Tipsy.

Buff potions

These grant the character a temporary, usually shortlived buff when consumed. Buffs are saved when exiting the game, and also carry over to other servers. They can be canceled by right-clicking the respective buff icon below the item hotbar. Crafted at an Alchemy Station.

Flasks

Main article: Flasks

These grant the character a temporary melee buff when consumed. Buffs are saved when exiting the game, and also carry over to other servers. They can be canceled by right-clicking the respective buff icon below the item hotbar. Only one Flask buff can be active at once. Crafted at an Imbuing Station.

Other

Potion Source Effects Icon(s) Red Potion ⚠ Unobtainable ⚠ Inflicts Burning and Suffocation on the user, unless used by a game developer. This item can be obtained via inventory editing or cheats.
