The Fireblossom is a small, magma-colored flower that grows on Ash Blocks in the Underworld. This is the only Plant in the game which is immune to Lava, and being in contact with lava is in fact the Fireblossom's blooming condition.

The player can also plant Fireblossom in Clay Pots from seeds, which are obtained from blooming Fireblossom plants. Using Lava Buckets and Clay Pots in an enclosed area is one method that players can use to accomplish this; the Clay Pots are also immune to damage from lava, as well as both the Clay Pot and the seed being able to be placed/planted directly in lava.

In order to harvest Fireblossom from its natural habitat, the player can use any weapon or tool. However, as with any other plant, in order to harvest Fireblossom from a Clay Pot, a pickaxe must be used.
