Gel is the basic loot dropped commonly by all Slimes.They are useful for crafting Torches, Sticky Bombs, Sticky Glowsticks, various Potions and as of the 1.1 update it is also used for ammo in the Flamethrower. Gel is also used in the summoning of King Slime. As a new player, be sure to collect lots of gel, you'll need it for crafting the items above. To make a gel farm, put a bird engine and hook it up to some slime statues. Put a thin layer of lava. Now you can get insane amounts of gel.

TriviaEdit

• Gel obtained from any slime is always blue, regardless of the slime's color.

• If mining directly down (Hellevator Etc.). And you run into a platform and the Gel lands on the very corner,it will act as a water block.
• As of the 1.1 update, Gel is used as ammo for the Flamethrower.
• The tooltip may be referencing Jell-o, "Both tasty and flammable!"
