The Gold Crown is a Vanity Item that is crafted with 30 Gold Bars and 1 Ruby at an Iron Anvil. The Gold Crown resembles that of a King's.

This is one of the more challenging Vanity Items to obtain in the game because of the amount of Gold Ore needed to craft it (120 pieces). In the 1.1 update, when the gold crown is crafted at a Demon Altar with 99 Gel you create the Slime Crown, which is used to summon the King Slime.
