The Iron Shortsword is the second tier of Shortswords you can craft. The Iron Shortsword's swing speed is very fast but has a tiny hitting range compared to the Iron Broadsword. Like all Shortswords, the Iron Shortsword can only aim at targets directly in front of it, thus making it rather useless against airborne Monsters.

Like other Shortswords, this weapon is regarded to be inferior to its broadsword counterpart by most players because of its lack of range and inability to easily hit flying targets.
