The Mother Slime is a Tier 6 Slime variant, and the toughest the player will encounter in the Underground layer (under usual conditions). This slime spawns 1-3 Baby Slimes upon death.

NotesEdit

• This slime is not to be mistaken with the Black Slime, which is similar in appearance. They can be distinguished by size, as the Mother Slime is much larger.
• The Mother Slime is quite large, taking up a 3x2 blocks of screen space. Due to this, it may become trapped in a small area.
• Upon killing the Wall of Flesh and entering Hard Mode, the spawn rate of this enemy decreases.
• This slime is always hostile.
• The mother slime can sometimes glitch into the floor if placed in a 2x2 hole or tunnel.
