The Pearlstone Block is a Stone Block that has been claimed by The Hallow. It is considered the 'pure' counterpart of the Ebonstone Block. In sufficient amounts, Pearlstone Blocks form the Underground Hallow biome in the underground, where Crystal Shards can often be found growing on them.

They are not typically recommended as a building material, as they will spread The Hallow. Pearlstone Blocks are also used as a material when crafting Pearlstone Bricks.

• Pearlstone and Ebonstone Blocks have the same durability, therefore taking the same amount of time to mine.

GlitchesEdit

• Pearlstone can rarely be found in some worlds before entering Hard Mode. This has been verified. It is completely random with between 1 - 5 blocks spawning very close to the surface near your spawn point.
