Rotten Chunks are an item commonly dropped by monsters such as Eaters of Souls, Devourers, and Corruptors, which can be found in the Corruption. Many Rotten Chunks can be collected by farming enemies in the Corruption once you have mid-tier weapons and armor. They are a material in Worm Food (used to summon the Eater of Worlds) and the Mechanical Worm (used to summon The Destroyer).
