In earlier versions, the only way to make glass was to use actual Sand, not the various alternate variety of sands. So what version exactly changed this? That information should be put into the History section. Alfonse215 (talk) 18:52, 2 May 2015 (UTC)
- I can't find it in any of the changelogs, but Crimsand Block seems to claim that the change took place during 1.2.4.1. That may be speculation, however. In my opinion (which is, again, just speculation) it's likely closer to 1.2.3, where the Glass Kiln was introduced along with much of the glass furniture, as well as a few other changes to biome-specific sand (specifically Crimsand again).
