This template is for Tools, such as Hammers, Axes, Pickaxes, and their Hardmode Counterparts.

|caption = Specifies a caption to be placed below the image.
|sub type = The Sub Type of the item, such as what type of Material it is.
|damage = How much damage this tool does.
|damage type = "magic", "melee" or "ranged" (Defines damage type and adds damage icon.)
|hammer power = How much Hammer Power this item has.
|axe power = How much Axe Power this item has.
|pickaxe power = How much Pickaxe Power this item has.
|mana cost = How much Mana this item costs to use.
|use time = The Use Time of the Item. (Speed in Brackets)
|material = Specifies whether the item is a Material or not.
|material in = A list of what items that this item is a Material in.
|craftable = If Specified, will state "No". If not specified, will state "Yes" and  enable the "Crafting" section of the infobox.
|amount = Specifies what amount of the item is produced from the crafting recipe.
|crafted with = What is used to craft this particular item.
|crafting station = "anywhere" or "adamantite forge" or "alchemy station" or "bookcase" or "chair" or "cooking pot" or "demon altar" or "furnace" or "hellforge" or "iron anvil" or "keg" or "loom" or "mythril anvil" or "sawmill" or "table + chair" or "tinkerers workshop" or "water" or "workbench"
|rarity = "tier -1" or "tier 0" or "tier 1" or "tier 2" or "tier 3" or "tier 4" or "tier 5" or "tier 6"
|tooltip = The tooltip on this item in-game.
|found in = Where this item can be found in-game.
|purchase from = Which NPC this item can be purchased from.
|purchase during = When this item can be purchased.
|purchase = (Enter Base Value*5, eg 5400 for 54 Silver Coins)
|sell = (Enter Base Value, eg 5400 for 54 Silver Coins - If left empty, will return "No Value")
|critical strike chance = If this item increases a player's base critical strike chance, or has a higher or lower critical strike chance than the base (Which is 4%) then this parameter can be used to specify that value.
|knockback = This parameter can be used to specify the exact Knockback value of an item, whether it increases the player's knockback by an amount, or whether it has a knockback strength.
|continuous attack = Specifies whether the item can continue to be used if the player holds down the Left Mouse Button.
