General

These are the general guidelines for uploading pictures:

• Pictures should be clear and easy to see.
• Screenshots should not contain text.
• Pictures should be no larger than 600px X 400px if they are used on content pages. Pictures used for forum/blog posts can be any size as long as they are downsized on the page.
• Pictures should be added to Category:Images once uploaded.
• Profile pictures and ones used on talk pages should be hosted on either Photobucket, ImageShack, TinyPic or Picasa Web Albums.
• Pictures should be named "Terraria <title>" with the title being something that corresponds to the picture.
• Do not upload duplicate pictures, instead replace existing pictures by clicking "Upload a new version of this file" on the picture's page.
• Only upload images where needed.

Deletion

An image will be deleted if it:

• Offends other users.
• Is not used on a page and the admin sees no use for it on the wiki at the time.
• Is of poor quality.
• Is a duplicate image.
• Has no relevance to Terraria Wiki.

Any pictures that meet a deletion reason should be tagged with {{delete|<reason here>}}.
