The Toxic Sludge is a monster that spawns only in hard mode worlds, usually Underground in the rocky dirt layer. It is considered a variant of slime.

NotesEdit

• Unlike other Slimes, the Toxic Sludge has a face.
• Toxic Sludges seems to spawn more often in the underground jungle.
• The Toxic Sludge is considered a slime for a number of reasons:
  1. It operates using the slime AI.
  2. It usually appears in place of normal slimes after entering hardmode.
  3. It has the same body shape as all other slimes, but has a slight difference, which is the face.
  4. It drops Gel, which is dropped by most other slimes at death.
  5. It has a Common rarity which most slimes have. Making it a common monster usually wandering around caves.
