What does the community want the achievements to do? im not really talking about adding mechanics when a player gets an achievement (that might be cool) but just what is the purpose and how hard should they be to get? what would they represent? are they tied to a specific character or to the player? maybe some are tired to the world? maybe all three... are they to show how much a player has farmed/grind'ed? do they show cleaver-ness and how do they do that? are they in a tier system (bronze/silve/gold/etc) where one must be earned before the next or are they flat one time things? maybe they could be "greatest" badges that can be lost if someone else (another character on the computer) does better at a later date. what Mods do you like? this is not a poll what mod you like most, just what you do like about what mods? also, what mods do you find work well together? the mods could be in-game (i.e. Toparrira), server (like Tshock), or stand alone (TEdit). remember that TConfig (and the later, tAPI) are not mods so much as launchers that allow certain mods.
part of this is that I am looking to mod the game and am wondering what people are interested in and what is not so cool. I also want to give the mods page an update as it seems to be very out of date.

Terraria has been a fantastic game for me to play. I really like being able to build various things to make the next part of the game much easier (building boss arenas) or even make the game progress more (gaining NPC's). For being a game built by a hobbyist to start, it is top notch. I know its an adventure game first, then a builder game. But its the building part that got me hooked. I like to let other people go adventuring while I work on crafting and building. I see a lot of potential for that facet to grow, though. I managed to work out an all in one system to get all the fluids in one location to self restore and provide the solid materials. uses little room and needs only one vat of each fluid. here it is with wiring.
can someone do better? ;]
note: the gold fish is important =p I have the three switches there, top one (honey) is 5 seconds cause i noticed that honey had a hard time with the rapid flow rate on the multi player server i am on. The water tank is larger b/c more water seems to be used in the process of creating the solid blocks. i have indicator lights just for fun!
