What are the Masters?

The Masters are people who are just plain NPC's, but you can challange them once a day. Of course, you must be able to defeat the first Master to get to the next Master, then him to the final Master. Each of them have different rewards upon death. If you happen to die on one, you may try to kill one of them up to two more times (three times in total, and if you switch Masters, the death count still adds up. Once you beat a Master.) If you fail on the third try, you cannot fight them anymore (until the next day). If you kill one of them on the first try, you cannot fight them until the next day (starts 12:00 AM and ends at 11:59 PM). Under the condition of each fight, you will gain a debuff called Monomania S (Sword), Monomania B (Bow), or Monomania M (Magic).

Master Number One

The first Master would be a warrior based NPC. To get this NPC to enter a house, you must have a clear house of at least 20 bricks wide x 10 bricks high. The house must contain a table, a chair, a chandelier (any type), a sword rack, as well as an Enchanted Sword and Cursed Hammer (details towards bottom of the page). He shows up day or night time. He can double jump (Like the Cloud in a Bottle) with the exact jump height for each jump. He of course uses a sword, which would be about the size of a Night's Edge, with the same attack speed. When he gets low on HP (condition below), he enters berserker mode, and deals more damage, defence lowers, swings his sword around much faster, and his sword also becomes the size of the Breaker Blade. When you enter the fight, you are inflicted with the Debuff Monomania S. The use of potions is allowed, as every 40 seconds, instead of a minute (Philosipher Stone does NOT work here), you can drink a potion.

Master Number Two

This Master is the master of Ranging. To get this NPC to enter a house, you must have a clear house of 20 bricks wide x 10 bricks high. The house must contain a table, a chair, two torches, A Wyvern Head (details towards bottom of page) and a bow rack. He shows up during the day. He can only jump once, unlike Master 1 or 3. For his Ranging weapon he uses a bow which has the range speed of a normal bow. When he gets low on HP, he enters Nature's Power, which increases his defence, lowers his attack, and increases his rate of fire (little slower than a shark weapon). When you enter the fight, you are inflicted with the Debuff Monomania B. The use of potions is just like Master 1.

Master Number 3

This Master is by far the hardest of the other Masters. To get this guy to enter a house, you need a house of 20 bricks wide x 10 bricks tall. The brick must be Hellstone, with an Obsidian Brickwall. You also need to have a table, a throne, a Crystal ball, a Skull Lantern, and a Skeleton with a Mage's Hat on. He will only show up during Night time (When first found, otherwise he is like a normal NPC.) He is a Mage, that has am average rate of fire, but focuses on offence. He has the jump height of Demon/Angel Wings (JUST the wings, no other boosters). He has limited mana, but only takes 5 seconds to regenerate it all the way back up. When you enter the fight, you are inflicted with the Debuff Monomania M. He has a chance to freeze you for 5 seconds (you can still fire, just can't move) if he is using his ice spells. (Ice spells are his slowest spell, moving at the rate of a Demon Scythe.) His fire spell has a chance to cause the On Fire! debuff. (His fire spell moves as fast as the Flower of Fire.) His normal spell moves as fast as a Magic Dagger, but can reach all the way across the screen. When the Mage gets low on HP, he will start summoning Plantoids commonly to try to kill you. (Plantoids do NOT drop hearts.) The Master's spells are all fast speed, and since he is the Master at Magic, he gains a bonus to all spell attacks, speed, and Plantoid HP/Defence/Attack.

House Items

Enchanted Sword/Cursed Hammer: To get these items, you must kill the Enchanted Sword and Cursed Hammer and not dent them (this of course is impossible, but it would be a 10% chance drop to get the Sword or Hammer drop.)

To make the Sword/Bow racks, you need 20 wood, 20 stone, 20 gold, one of EACH sword (Copper - Adamantite) or one of EACH bow (Copper - Adamantite Repeater)

To get the Wyvern Head you must kill a Wyvern without damaging it's head (5% chance to get a Wyvern head). Must be mounted on a wall (Wall mount takes 20 wood and 1 Iron bar to make)

To get the Skeleton body for the Mage, you must get 178 bones and a skull (Skull is a drop rate of 1/100 from the Bones family.) Combine the Skeleton with the Mage's hat to make the Skeleton Mage.

All things can be crafted with a Workbench.

Other Stuff

  • Excuse the title of this page, for it should be Master NPC's, not just one NPC. Ideas changed during the first Master.
  • There ay be a few typos, I am sorry for that. Defence is supposed to be Defence, not Defense, since I am not used to putting Defense.
  • If anyone has suggestions, please let me know. I'm always open to them!
  • Wyvern Head is Koggeh's idea, and the weapon racks are LumpZ ideas, not mine.

Other People's suggestions

  • Instead of having the Debuffs called "Monomania" S,B, or M, there was a thought by Pathogen of Berserker, Sniper, and or Warlock. Thought will be put into this, just want to think it over first. Thanks Pathogen!
