Update Info

A new feature is coming soon to PC version - Achievements!!! One of the Developers has begun work on achievements for PC version. The achievements are expected in a few weeks from now.

In other news, the Lunar update is finally nearing completion!

Cenx states:

"All of the assets are done for one of the new events and most of the tedious programming has been finished. All that is left for this is programming the boss, setting values, and setting the drops."

You can expect it soon!

Nothing to report here. Our best guess is that 505 games is busy with Hardmode for the Mobile version.

We have no new updates concerning the upcoming Hardmode update.

Weekly Events

Poll of the week

What is your favorite Crafting Station? This can be based on the sprite, the animation, or what it's used to craft! (This poll only includes the special and unique Crafting Stations. [Example: The Cooking Pot nor any of the Anvils will be included amongst others.])

Best Creation/Pixel art of the Week

This week we have two submissions! One from Hunited and the other from UltimaTech! The first is Hunt's dark cathedral. It is created using Corruption themed materials along with the Wizard at the top, practicing his dark incantations and rituals. (No idea why the Guide is there. T_T) The second is UltimaTech's nature themed NPC haven. It is constructed partially underground and is mostly built with Living Wood materials.

Exclusive interview with a member of this Wiki

TerrariamcSwaggins: Hey Lightning, would you like to be interviewed for the Terrarian Bugle? :)

LightningChaser1997: Interviewed for the Terrarian Bugle?

TerrariamcSwaggins: Yep! ^_^

LightningChaser1997: Might as well. :)

TerrariamcSwaggins: Awesome! First question, what is your favorite boss and why?

LightningChaser1997: Hm... well, considering I haven't actually left Pre-Hardmode yet due to the Wall of Flesh glitching on me, I would have to say Skeletron due to the simple fact that I have the most fun fighting him. He is the most challenging Pre-Hardmode boss, in my opinion.

TerrariamcSwaggins: Hm, that's fairly new, the first time I played Terraria, Skeletron gave me a lot of trouble too. Next question, what is your favorite biome and why?

LightningChaser1997: Hrm... probably the Underground Jungle, I love the challenge hidden in it despite the annoyance of running all the way across the map when I die.

TerrariamcSwaggins: Yeah, that place is deadly for most Pre-Hardmode players. ;-; Next question, what gear/weapons/armor do you specialize in?

LightningChaser1997: I tend to use the Tank armor sets, so Molten armor, since I'm Pre-Hardmode, helps me out a bit more for the survival aspect. I tend to use a sword and boomerang or chakram combination since that allows multiple ranges of engagement.

TerrariamcSwaggins: Oooh, interesting, I know a few people around here who like using Tank too. Final question, what is the most intense boss fight you're ever engaged in? Tell it in a small story format.

LightningChaser1997: That would have to be my first Skeletron fight, I'm not gonna forget that one. It was a rookie mistake to go in with a defense of 11 and even more stupid of me to run into the initial room of the dungeon. The room is not big enough to run around in yet I found myself dodging most of the swings because I was grappling around in a circle with a standard grappling hook. It was ridiculous and I felt that it would be death for me, but after I got a rhythm of grapples going, and Skeletron was half following me around, it became a duck hunt with the Chakram. I was constantly watching the time and was starting to panic when it came to about 3 AM in game time. I was sitting there, thinking that I should just wait to die and try again when I had better weapons but persistence paid off, Skeletron died just as the time ticked to 4 AM in game time. I couldn't believe it and I know it seems like a ridiculous story but I managed it! I wish I had filmed it.

TerrariamcSwaggins: Woah. 0_0 That is quite the story! Well, I believe that's it! Thank you for your time!

LightningChaser1997: No problem, Swaggins. ^_^
