Hello Terrarians and happy late Halloween! Welcome to the twenty-first issue of The Terrarian Bugle! The support for this series has been great; thank you! Cenx released a spoiler regarding one of the aesthetic changes being added to the game: Sleeker water and lava movements!
If you wish to view the official video, please go here!
"Coming with the 1.3 update, we are introducing brand new liquid mechanics that are more smooth and natural-looking than the previous "blocky" liquids in Terraria. This pair of videos show a "before and after" to showcase these fantastic changes!
The new water does not adversely affect performance nor will it result in the removal of the ever-popular "water duping" bug."
Here are a few screenshots of the new, improved water/lava textures:
Terraria is coming to Next Gen consoles by, at least, the end of November!
505 games states:
"We are pleased to announce that - barring unforeseen delays - our plan is to deliver an equally pleasing Thanksgiving treat to our XBox One & PS4 fans by releasing Terraria for both of the Next Gen consoles before the end of November!"
There's a new update coming to Mobile devices! To celebrate Thanksgiving, 505 Games is going to release a Thanksgiving update!
Some of the content introduced in this new update will include:
- The Merchant now sells Turkey Feathers, which can be used to summon your very own Turkey Pet!
- A new, dangerous boss, Turkor the Ungrateful!
- Last but not least, the Horn of Plenty; a bottomless normal healing potion!
Some of the bug fixes in this update will include:
- Water Candle now works even if you're not holding it.
- Now holding the buy button will keep on buying until you let go of the screen. (Same as crafting)
- If you reached maximum health of 400 HP (10 golden hearts) the game increases difficulty, mainly higher spawn chance & more mobs.
- Wraith AI had a bug where it was stuck flying on a certain height - this has been fixed
Poll of the week
This poll with be about which major biome you like best, enjoy!
Creation/Pixel art of the Week
This week we have one submission! It is a specially themed Pumpkin created for the Halloween season! It was created by Squazzil, so be sure to give her a compliment the next time you see her!
Exclusive interview with a member of this Wiki
TerrariamcSwaggins: Hey! Would you be willing to do an interview for this week's issue of the Terrarian Bugle?
TerrariamcSwaggins: Awesome! First question, what is your favorite boss and why?
Arthurtilly: Well, I like Duke Fishron the best, as he looks the coolest. Even with endgame stuff, I can't beat him.
TerrariamcSwaggins: The Duke is certainly a cool boss! Heh, the Devs got most of us pretty good when they "joked" about adding him in. Next question, what is your favorite biome and why?
Arthurtilly: I like the Corruption the best, especially the monsters. I also like the cool diagonal 'chasms' that lead to the Demon Hearts.
TerrariamcSwaggins: Indeed, the Corruption is a pretty awesome biome. Next question, what class do you play, and why do you play that class?
Arthurtilly: I used to be a Tank, but recently I have started to play as a Mage. I still love most of the end-game melee weapons though.
TerrariamcSwaggins: That's funny, 'cause I've been doing the same thing! xD And yeah, the melee weapons that you get end-game are really crazy. Final question, if you had unlimited materials, the best building tools, and a good chunk of time, what would you build?
Arthurtilly: Probably a pixel art of something, I really like making pixel arts. It wouldn't be something complicated, probably just a few Terraria sprites.
TerrariamcSwaggins: That sounds pretty cool and interesting! I suppose that about wraps up the interview; thank you for your time!
Arthurtilly: No problem!
I'm very excited to continue our series; Hunited's awesome sprites! So let's get to it! Welcome to part five.

This week is the complete accessories and complete debuff/buff theme!
