Creation/Pixel art of the Week
This week we have one submission! It is a pixel art of the user, NunyaPie! (The user is more commonly known on the Animal Jam Wiki, if you're wondering). It was created by SlayerOfTheBad, so be sure to give him a compliment next time you see him!
Exclusive interview with a member of this Wiki
TerrariamcSwaggins: Hey! Would you like to do an interview for the wiki's official newspaper, the Terrarian Bugle?
SuperSonic06: Sure! Why not?
TerrariamcSwaggins: Great! First question, what is your favorite boss and why?
SuperSonic06: Probably Ocram, mainly because I feel like he's a good challenge.
TerrariamcSwaggins: Really? I'm not sure, but I may have over-prepared for him, which resulted in an easy fight. Next question, what is your favorite biome and why?
SuperSonic06: Crimson, just because I love the color red, which is actually my favorite color.
TerrariamcSwaggins: Haha, I have a friend who's obsessed with that color. :P Next question, what is your favorite monster in the game? Not counting the bosses.
TerrariamcSwaggins: Aye, that fella is pretty cool looking. Final question, what class do your prefer most in Terraria?
SuperSonic06: Ranged, I love guns. (*v*)
SuperSonic06: It was a pleasure! Really, it was. (^v^)
For this week, we'll be continuing our new series; A complete showcasing of all of DerpoTheMagnificent's sprites! Welcome to the third part. :)
All credit for the sprites go to DerpoTheMagnificent.
This week's theme will be monsters! Enjoy!
Story of the Week
This week's story was created by SilverHexxitFights! Enjoy!
Here is this week's story!
Night's Edge: Episode 2
The adventurer dove toward the skeletons, his sword flashing. It was lighter than others he had wielded, easily swinging in his hand. It darted left, then right, and cut the skeletons to pieces. Their bones clattered against the brick floor. However, one skeleton was wise enough to stay back.
It arced its neck toward the sky and let out a rasping cry, resounding through the dungeon. The rustle of old bones, long undisturbed, rippled through the hallways to reach the swordsman's ears. He sprang at the skeleton, cutting off its head and voice, but not before he had been beset with a legion of undead.
Two of them grabbed his arms as another began to pull his head backwards, so tight he feared his neck would snap.
Their bony hands exerted pressure on his limbs as more skeletons congregated. One, apparently the leader, suspended a glowing blue ball between his hands as he stood on a ledge above the scene, dressed in robes of blue.
"Stay... out... of... our... dungeon," the hissing creature growled. "Stay... OUT." With the final word, he threw his ball of blue magic.
The adventurer was powerless and about to die, but his sword - whatever it was - protected him. Lying on the floor several feet away, it surged to life as the ball neared his chest and slammed through it, slicing it into misty blue light. The skeletons were stunned and, for the moment, vulnerable. His sword flying to his hand, the adventurer dashed upwards... upwards... and out of the dungeon.
From far away, he could see the mossy green treetops and hanging vines of the jungle.
