The Butcher is a Hardmode, post-Plantera enemy that is only found during the Solar Eclipse event. It attacks by charging at the player at quick speeds. It appears to wield a chainsaw that will deal massive damage to the player.

Notes

• The Butcher makes the same sound as a Pigron or Medusa's attack upon death.
• Despite it being able to clearly wield and drop a Butcher's Chainsaw, the one it carries does not emit sparks upon contact with the player.

Trivia

• Butcher is a reference to the 1974 movie The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
